I am an AV programmer that travels to high-end homes implementing automation systems. I needed something that could carry my 17" laptop and various cords needed to integrate the devices. This is the only shoulder bag large enough to carry all this stuff and then some. I am very happy with the product and have already bought the Matrix backpack for shorter trips and alternate use.

I have been searching for a bag for an ASUS G71 Laptop for 6 months now. I purchased it at a major Big Box Store and they did not even carry a case that would fit this laptop. The 17.1 inch screen made it difficult to find a case that would fit in. The Slappa HardBody PRO (17 inch) case could fit The ASUS no problem and even has extra room, even enough for much larger laptops. One thing that I discovered is the extra cushioning and attention to detail that this case has. You'll be surprised on how well made and how complete this product is. It has plenty of storage compartments, a outer case that is only paralleled by metal or hard plastic cases, although those cases do not have the extra features on the inside that cradles your laptop like a baby. Being a product designer myself, its refreshing to find a case that is stylish, yet not over the top and still is distinguishable over the thousands of boring generic cases black laptop cases. I went in to buy the Slappa HardBody PRO (17 inch) case and saw the rest of the product line. I then fell in love with the Slappa Ballistix P-Tac PRO. The only hard decision is which one to buy. So to make my decision easier I purchased both. The team at Slappa in Charlotte is awesome. They are a pleasure to do business with. I will be a repeat customer. What a great organization, what a great product line.

Wow! I could not be happier with this bag. Sure it's a beast, but that's exactly what I needed. Most importantly, the customer service was outstanding. Solid customer service is difficult to find these days, and SLAPPA clearly excels. I won't look any farther for my next bag.

or a while now I own a Vestax VCI-300 and was looking for a proper way to carry it around from gig to gig along with my macbook. I was looking at regular laptop bags and was searching on the Serato forum to find out what was a good way to carry my gear around.Since I own a couple of CD wallets of Slappa I got the idea to look at your bags. I found a bag which I thought my gear could fit in. I checked the sizes and took the chance and ordered the Slappa Ballistix P-TAC Matrix.I was very happy to find out all the stuff I take with me when I go to a DJ gig fitted right in the Ballistix P-TAC Matrix!!!I entered the Serato forum again and told at that place how I liked my Slappa bag. Got my bag the other day for my Dell Studio XPS 1640. It has alot of space in it and I would recommend buying a sleeve for your laptop as well or abit of padding depending on its size. First impressions of the bag were good, just the look of it is amazing. it definately has a nice design and enough pockets for everything you need to carry. The build quality of the bag is top standard and it easily out does any other laptop bag I have seen or used. Slappa customer service has also been extremely efficient and after asking them a pre-purchase question I got an answer within a few hours with all the information I needed. It may be an expensive bag but its worth the investment for both the looks and the reassurance that yor bag will be safe.
